Stonehenge Tunnel Representative Responses

As the Stonehenge tunnel plans reach their next stage of development, the National Infrastructure Planning have been asking for anyone who would like to register as an interested party to give their representative views on the plans so far.

These representations have now been published and, with over 2,000 of them accepted (out of nearly 4000), there is certainly some huge views over the subject.

You can see the representative views here, they make for very intreguing reading. The Blick Mead team are very thrilled that so many of the responses given are taking into account the importance of the dig location with regards to the Countess Road flyover.

On behalf of the dig team the University of Buckingham have given their representative response which can be found here.

Having skimmed through the responses it would seem that the feeling towards the tunnel scheme is not a positive one.
